Swedish Massage – This technique will relax the entire body using long gliding strokes directionally returning blood to the heart which can help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation, Stress reduction as well as very relaxing!

Deep Tissue Massage – Is a corrective bodywork modality focusing on the deeper layers of muscles within our bodies. It is very effective at releasing chronic patterns of tension in the body, breaking up adhesion’s, relieving muscle spasms, elongating shortened muscle fibers, addressing and eliminating scar tissue, increasing range of motion, and correcting postural imbalances. It is not uncommon to experience discomfort during parts of a deep tissue massage and experience some degree of soreness 24-36 hours after. Following this period of “soreness”, a notable improvement is almost always experienced.

Hot Stone Massage – In this treatment, the heat and weight of the hot stones are applied to your muscles, melting away tension, increasing circulation and allowing for a deeper, more therapeutic massage, resulting in an amazing, relaxing experience.

Prenatal Massage – Great for adapting to the anatomical changes a woman goes through during pregnancy. Massage can reduce stress hormones and relax and loosen muscles. The focus of this massage is to alleviate the discomforts of pregnancy as well as decrease the mental and physical fatigue.

Orthopedic Massage – This type of massage is a type of injury rehabilitation with a focus on the muscles and soft tissue injury rehabilitation. Goals for this session include decreasing pain, increasing range of motion, and preparing the body to return to normal daily life. Commonly the massage therapist will work in conjunction with a physician, physical therapist or other health care provider.

Chair Massage – While seated in a comfortable ergonomic chair fully clothed for a quick 15 or 30 minute massage either in our treatment room or contact our office for pricing for alternate locations.

Sports Massage– Incorporates a combination of massage and stretching techniques. Sport massage is faster paced, customized to your specific areas of concern and will not always be a full body session.
